exactly. these fuckers love milestones. i think rather than sami's popularity helping, it might have made them think neither guy is worth being THE guy to beat roman if its that easy to derail cody's big rise, and they definitely dont mind waiting. roman cementing a final victory as the absolute best of the modern era and them being able to say A THOUSAND DAYS in video packages for the next 20 years will probably be more important to them than a new champ

Prior to Elimination Chamber both Sami and Cody were white hot and the Quebec pop for Sami was boosted as hell you can hear it on tv/video.
I think they hurt Cody by letting him win from the number 30 entry. I think if Cody went for some iron man shit or entered around 10 it would help his case a lot.
Sami popped up out of nowhere with his hype but he will be forgotten after Mania. He is Hangman case but on steroids since WWE has bigger viewership ( Per Hangman case I mean that fans pretty much turned on Hangman right after he won the title they were begging for him to win lol ).
Sami is never going to work as a main champion because of Saudi deals for example and dropping the title in and out just for the sake of non Israel guy being the champ is a big doo doo.
Cody as a champion is a long term plan and I think they will still want to capitalize on it.
I want Cody to win so much but I don't want him to get fucked because of marks once in a year hyping up a guy they selected. That's super hypocritical of the fans btw. Before Sami blew up in Bloodline they were begging for Cody to return during RR to win and challenge Roman at Mania.
There is actually not a good way to end this stuff. I thought about many posibilities and it is hard as fuck.
I don't know what I want atm tbh. Although I think I know what WWE may do if Sami train keeps puffing until Mania. I think WWE will be mad that people switched from Cody to Sami and they will give Sami and Cody Wrestlemania 34 treatment. ( Everyone thought Roman is finally taking the title off of Brock but Roman was so goddamn hated by the fans that Vince changed the plans just before Main Event ).

We will see how fans react to Cody from now on until Mania tho. Maybe he won't lose the hype.
How would you split the titles for Mania so everyone is satisfied? Some angle with Adam Pearce having enough of Roman's bs and telling him that he must separate the titles or something like that.

One of the most natural talkers in recent memory, and great character-wise (in the ring). The biggest proof of just how charismatic he was is that moment where he did the whole Enzo and Cass intro without a mic. The audience was eating it up.

Agreed w Nika. He's one of the most natural mic talents in all of wrestling. Probably a better talker than anybody in either companys active roster. AEW should give him as much money as they can to get him back with big Cass, that's money. They'd be the biggest tag team in the world if they had a chance. As much as the wrestling nerds and marks in the locker room hate it.
