I just read all of Wano, and my clear memory of X Drake is that of a coward who switched sides on a dime if it meant saving his own skin. Even then he didn't accomplish anything for the organisation he works for, though perhaps he's just waiting to stab the Marines in the back too.

Coby meanwhile showed more courage and skill in a single chapter than Drake did in an entire arc. He dodged Hancock's attack and negotiated with both her and Teach to spare the innocents. I wouldn't be surprised if he offered himself up in exchange for everyone else's safety.
