After to talking to many people, I get the impression that quite a few people don't want Yamato to be happy alongside Luffy, despite what Yamato said.

If so, then that's rather unfortunate. It makes me wonder how many of those such people wouldn't want Jinbe to be happy alongside Luffy, or any of the other Straw Hats.

They prob don't want Vivi to reunite either. It's just sad really, and just makes me hope that they have more happiness in their lives, because they could prob use it.

Thank god she didn't join really I never understood the point of this character to begin she didn't even have potential to be one and the Oden of luffy's crew is Jinbe the one who is always paired with the wings

Yamato chose to be with Momo cause she was happy with him. You’re acting like Yamato is depressed about being with Wano, but she’s genuinely happy there protecting this country

What does that matter? Pell and Chaka have guardian fruits and are able to sail out just fine.

-Barren wasteland with barely anything to see outside of a capital.

-Momo's whining after wounding his pride in finding out why she stayed.

-The risk of getting hated on because she's Kaido's child.

-Surppressing her dreams to sail because of Momo's failure with the Admiral.

-The risk of getting stomped on by someone like Saturn if decides to roll in there with Seraphim, Pacifista, and over Vegapunk tech once he gets out of Egghead.

-Yamato outright voicing her desire to be a crewmate with Luffy despite Momo's failure.

-The risk of stayed trapped on Wano for the rest of her entire life being a guard dog because of some cursed fruit.

Now, don't you think Yamato could come across an issue or two while at Wano?

Seeing how happy she was and that she chose this for herself, no.

Yamato straight up decided for herself that she would rather stay in wano. No ones forcing her, she had the opportunity to leave and she refused.

Yamatos in wano by her own choice for her own happiness, stop acting like she’s some prisoner.

I imagine Oda is wanting to gradually reveal more of Kaido’s background in the meantime as an expansion of Yamato’s background.

Oda recently revealed that Gloriosa was part of Rocks’ crew with Kaido, and possibly may have been Yamato’s mom, similar to Stussy being Weevil’s mom.

And if that Amazon who was brave enough to sail alongside Kaido to God Valley and fight Roger 38 years ago can’t possibly be Yamato’s mom, then who’d be more likely then?

Gloriosa does looks similar to yamato :myman:
