Oda cant just draw any good swordfight at all. Nobody have high exoectation for a good choreographed mihawk vs zoro sword fight.

Sanji's fight is far better than zoros.

Meanwhile, Zoro v King finale produced whats widely considered a top 5 Zoro panel OAT (that "King of Hell" panel).

I mean to say about the fight choreography. Most of the zoros sword fights are not up to the mark.
He has glorious stance and one liners but thats it.

OP fight choreography is non existant in and of itself.
Even then Sanji is no where comparable to Zoro or Luffy's fights.

Off the top of my head the best choreography moments from Wano were Jinbe catching Who's Who's tail and then landing his Finisher, Zoro's Bird Dance and Luffy dodging TB using Fs and kicking Kaidou.

You cant name something similar for Sanji. You gotta go way back until EL to find a similar one... that finishing move on Jyabura f.ex.

Thats true. Sanji should have gotten a proper kick based fighter as opponents. He was robbed off vergo who was a good matchup.
Likewise for zoro the last proper swordsman was Ryuma. It should not had been that difficult for Oda to create such opponents for them.

I know that you're trolling but I think Zoro's been pretty great in Wano and Egghead. Imo the story tried to take him too seriously in the earlier arcs of the New World, but I feel like recently they've been having a lot more fun with his character like they used to.

Like, the guy's actually shown smiling again. Which, unless I'm misremembering, rarely ever happened in Fishman Island through Zou

You're expecting someone who got bullied his whole life and had parental issues to write a stand up man who only wants to be great.

Zoro is the complete opposite of Oda that's why he struggles on giving Zoro his proper characterization and depth.

Luffy don't have the same drive to be the best he just wants to be free and protect his friends he don't have the intention to conquer whatsoever.

Same reason why he leans towards Sanji more in characterization and depth.

Same reason why he fumbled Kaido and every antagonist who had the potential to be great.
