- What do you expect of the Holy Knights generally?
I think they will be the Strawhats's opponents. Hopefully they lived up to their hype as strong fighters.

- How strong do you think they are?
I'd say top tiers. Could be wrong though.

- Are they human?
Mixed races. Minks, orges, human, fishman. Then again, WG is not really fond of other races beside humans and every Celestial Dragons we know so far are humans.

- How do you think the recruitment process of this group even works?
Hmmmm, basically in a room where everybody fighting each others to death. Kinda how like Blackbeard orders the Impel Down prisoners to kill each other in a cell then the last remaining survivor joining the BBP. Something like that.

- What about their possible fighting style/technique, do they have Rokushiki or do they have something else in store?
Swordsmanship, Rokushiki, Devil Fruits powers, Haki.

- What about their haki?
Their Haki is probably advanced level.

- What about their possible Devil fruit?
They could have strong DFs. Top tier Paramecia or Mythical Zoans. Don't think any of them will have a Logia power since Logia is usually reserved for Admirals.

- What of their possible design roughly to match OP version of Holy Knights? Do you think we have seen some of them or all of them before or new characters?

The OG designs of the Shichibukai are the closest match of the Holy Knights so far. Some could say that Shanks and his crew are the Holy Knights, but I'm not sure.

- What do you think their role is?
Their role are fighters that are well versed in politics. Their mission is to subdue any possible rebellions from any kingdoms that rebels against the WG.

Closest example to this would be Germa Warmongers where Ichiji and Niji subdue the war of kingdoms. Or Big Mom Pirates Ministers that destroys kingdoms for not preparing ingredients on time? Or was it that BMP minsters taking every ingredients from the kingdoms by force? Honestly can't remember.

If they are the opponents of the Straw Hats,i think we will get a Saint Seya Gold Saints arc type of scenario.

I think they're ancient pacifista. It appears everything vegapunk does is just trying to reproduce ancient technology.
Their titles smell like something above regular humans. You don't just call someone God's knight when he has a life span of 80 years and was just hired for a job.

They are Copies of their Leader (Main Holy Knight) that are created using Haki (But They can look different)

How do you think the recruitment process of this group even works?

They were never Recruited, their Leader is Imu's Equal (Similar to how Big Mom was Kaidou's Partner)

What about their possible fighting style/technique, do they have Rokushiki or do they have something else in store?

Imo Wano is Land of CoA (Mantra), Elbaf is Land of CoO (Mantra) & Mary Geoise is Land of CoC (Unknown Name)
So Holy Knights are Specialized in CoC, just like Scabbards Specialized in Ryou

What about their possible Devil fruit?

Either They don't use DFs or They take DFs of their Victims similar to Blackbeard Pirates
If that's the case, then it's possible a Holy Knight was sent to Assassinate Doflamingo & He ends up killing Magellan (And taking his DF)

What of their possible design roughly to match OP version of Holy Knights? Do you think we have seen some of them or all of them before or new characters?

I’m looking forward to them. I’ll temper my expectations a bit- they are just nameless silhouettes right now- but Oda’s great post-Wano form makes me pretty cheerful about all the stuff he’s been introducing.

Would be an interesting twist if they are the bastard children of the Celestial Dragons forcing themselves on slaves (which we know for a fact happens) who have been raised and indoctrinated since birth to be loyal to their fathers. Complete with absolutely psycho training regimes.

Could bring up some very interesting contrasts if there is a Shanks brother among them, very jealous of the lives the two have lived by contrast. Imagine Shanks a true-blooded CD who could have had all the privilege in the world, but threw it away to be a pirate, while Shanks’ bastard bro was basically tortured growing up and longed to be a true CD.

Btw, we convinced that Shanks was the one who talked to the Gorosei? I know people hate twin plots, but I‘m now thinking maybe Shanks’ brother was the one to complain about him to the Gorosei now lol. We don’t see the scar side and all the dialogue could support it.

The fact there seems to be nine of them is interesting, if the crew is complete they could offer a 1 vs 1 to every sraw hat while Luffy fights the boss (Imu?). Though it seems they are build-up to be direct enemies of the revolutionnary army, so who knows.

- How strong do you think they are?

Weakest ones average yonko commander level, middle ones inbetweener and the 1-2 strongest ones top tiers. Pure guesswork though, but at this state of the story any new fighter must at least be solid high tier.

- Are they human?

Nothing to suggest they aren't.

- How do you think the recruitment process of this group even works?

Their name "Holy Knights" is kind of interesting. Knights imply nobility. Maybe it's some sort of hereditary position? Or at least something you only enroll if you are from a certain social class

- What about their possible fighting style/technique, do they have Rokushiki or do they have something else in store?

Maybe they know rokushiki, but I don't think it would their main fighting style. Rokushiki is cipher pol thing.

Should be at least decent

There are least some DF users imo but no idea what abilities they have.

Since there at least 9 of them, there will likely be some goofy ones knowing Oda. I think they are all new characters.

To deal with those who directly oppose the CDs. The Navy also does this technically as the armed branch of the WG but they mostly fight pirates and outlaw in general. I think Holy Knights role is specifically to deal with WG's direct enemies.

Do you think they will fight the Strawhats?

Luffy + 9 Strawhats vs Imu + 9 Holy Knights.

The strongest being in the YC1 range, with the weakest being in the Tobi Roppo range.

Can't see any Top Tiers in the bunch, as Fuji and Green Bull were regarded as the Heavy hitters during the Reverie, so the Holy Knights have to be below them.

They do warrant a certain level of hype though as it's stated that once these guys are mobilized, that's when the real battle starts.

In terms of where they come from, I'm thinking a certain Lineage that's had maintained being the Holy Knights since the establishment of the World Government. They are born on Mariejois, but not Celestial Dragons, and with each Generation a child replaces the parent.

Some of my initial takes:
- I expect them or most of them to be very snobbish in nature.
- Strength ways no way to know for sure and way too early, but based on Dragon's implication then I think the front guy with a sword is a top tier with a lower top tier folllwing after him, rest range commander tier.
- Since many people seem to thibk of the idea that these guys may be of CD lineage, I wonder what methods, regime and ways they have to find someone potentially strong among their bloodlines. Might have a lot of dark implications here as noted by @Garp the Fist
- Fighting Style; Since I don't expect them to wear armor in the classic sense a knight would, but more like a mix like BM's sweet commanders at best, one idra would be they use haki a lot more defensively acting as an invisible armor, with some of the Rokushiki mixed in, I think that will stay a WG thing. Swords, Axes, Spears, Riffles, Archery, Glaive users to spice things up.
- Some of them might have devil fruits, but not all of them
- I liked the idea in the spoiler thread that some of the brokers who were watching the broadcasted experiment in Punk Hazzard could be among the Holy Knights group but they are probably completely new characters.
- Their role; secure the Gorosei and Imu's rule, protect them. Rather have those 9 be steong and competent fighters than trying to wrap my head on hoe some 80-90 year old guys can be top of the verse, wiyh Imu having some special ability but not a fighter, kinda like Momo or some shit.

@Garp the Fist again offered an interesting take where Shanks evil twin brother might actually work better than prople give credit for, it depends how Oda executes it. Shanks a CD being found, saved from Xebec and raised by Roger experiencing freedom could set some interesting storyline there. Maybe take a step further, Blackbeard - 2 people in one body, Shanks - 1 man 2 different bodies (twin).
Maybe Figarland aren't even a CD family, was it ever stated anywhere? Might be famous due to the serving as the Holy Knight ranks historically.

But again this is just a rough silhouette however with that sword being a little too similar at least makes one raise those thoughts lol.

I expect them to serve as either the Numbers equivalent of the World Government, or hopefully, to be their own unique group with different personalities and powers. I think some of them may fight the Straw Hats, while the rest may fight Luffy's allies.

- How strong do you think they are?

Varies. I expect one of them to be the final opponent for a character like Hancock, while some of the others may fight Grand Fleet characters. They may be really disappointing like CP-0 too. Till proven otherwise, 3 Admirals > Holy Knights.

- Are they human?

Yes. No way the racist ass Celestial Dragons would let a non-human settle their affairs.

- How do you think the recruitment process of this group even works?

They may be Celestial Dragons who learned how to fight. Or families who have been serving the Celestial Dragons since the Void Century. I theorized that they are former CP/Marines who were given immortality, but that doesn't explain why they're allowed to meddle in Celestial Dragons affairs. I like the theory that they are the bastard children of the Celestials.

- What about their possible fighting style/technique, do they have Rokushiki or do they have something else in store?

Their fighting style should vary. We may see a few zoan users with rokushiki like Who's Who imo

It would be interesting if Kumadori's mother was one, I thought she would be a CP-0 member but looks like she isn't.

- What about their haki?

Some of them will definitely show CoA and CoO. Other's won't, but it will be revealed they have it in Vivre Cards.

- What about their possible Devil fruit?

We know that the Celestial Dragons can easily afford powerful fruits like Boa's, so I think it stands to reason the Holy Knights will have some of the best devil fruits in the series.

Their designs will vary just like all OP characters. A mix of goofy, weird, normal and badass. They may have a set uniform to identify them.

Final opponents for a few characters in the Final War. They could be the Straw Hats final opponents, but I doubt every single SH will fight one.

While the silhouette does show 9, I think it makes more sense for their to be 19, one for each Celestial Dragon family, but 9 sounds like a more reasonable number

Not stronger than Admirals imo. Wouldn't make sense to have 9 powerhouses chilling 24/365. Maybe their leader will be around Admiral level or so. Depending on who they end up fighting.

Yes. All are CDs.

They're from amongst the CDs. We saw that they can turn out strong (Doflamingo).

Maybe Rokushiki. But probably the usual brawlers and swordsmen.

Depends on their place in the hierarchy. Maybe the leader has CoC.

It's One Piece. Expect triangle shaped dudes with wide shoulders and lanky legs.

I support this, Yonkou Shanks meeting Gorosie never made sense.

Plus Luffy having to fight this version of Shanks would be dope. Imu also can't exercise this much power completly relying on Marines, either the Gorosie or the Holy Knights one of these have to super strong. A Shanks look alike won't be weak so my expectations are up now.

Oda's finally moving on to real plot and i can't help but think how's he going to wrap all this in one arc. He's going to off-panel lot of good shit. Defeating BB, Marines and WG. Elbaf.
Given the treatment of BB crew i think they might end up being alies after short fight.
