The reason Luffy had to constantly get bailed out by Zoro is because the Yonko were hard-focusing him. If Kaido went at Zoro the way he went at Luffy, Zoro would've been out of the fight much earlier

Why does Kaido get downplayed so often? He's arguably top 3 strongest characters we've seen thus far. Zoro isn't there yet and that's perfectly fine

Per feats and what's shown so far Kaido high diffs read the thread instead if sticking to headcanons

We still have 5 years until EoS, putting Zoro on such a pedestal this early will only make his future accomplishments seem less impressive down the line

That being said, I think Zoro should be able to push Kaido to atleast mid difficulty during the halfway point of the next arc. And EoS Zoro can take him

At least mid diff seems reasonable but there is somethings to add

There is no headcannon. Zoro's most powerful last ditch attack which was imbued with CoC, that Zoro doesn't even know he possesses or can utilize at all on his own couldn't even knock Kaido off his feet. Zoro gets walked if there is no one around to divert Kaido's attention from him.

Dragon Kaido showed he can't do shit to Zoro .

Base Kaido TB is a trash compared to Hakai that Zoro reacted to it far better than a FS luffy who evaded partially TB let's not talk about how Zoro blocked and took it head on and still continued
Let's not talk about the clash between Zoro and Hybrid Kaido where he got overpowered after the clash and then blitzed afterwards he sweated / panted for the first time here
Let's not talk about Kaido vs Asura no one diverted the attention of the other lmao

1) to be fair, we don't know if ashura is still zoro's strongest attack post time skip.
it was his strongest attack pre time-skip for sure but that would be assuming he didn't learn a new style like gear 4 luffy did.
it is highly possible zoro has a more powerful slash but couldn't use due to his health after tanking hakai.

ZKK will happen and Zoro will have a second round with Kaido what i'm waiting for is luffy fans reaction after Kaido makes Luffy near death per Hawkins's prophecy using Cards after they said Luffy will beat Kaido 1 vs 1 now lmao

im convinced dragon form is overrated and is only good against clearing out huge numbers of fodders in a battle like marineford.

Who gives a damn what Zoro took or didn't. Being able to take some high end attacks and keep going when your opponent isn't solely focused on you means nothing in a 1 v 1 fight. When Kaido comes at Zoro, full strength, unloading relentless attacks one after another, Zoro is done for.

Zoro can't even do any real damage without Ashura, and even then it's not even strong enough to drop an already severely damaged Kaido. Zoro stands no chance here. I don't think you fully comprehend what it means to be a Top Tier and what it would take to push one to a high diff fight.

Yes we do, because Zoro himself admitted he was going to give it his all with Ashura, and if that failed, then Law needs to step in otherwise they'd be dead.
