General & Others Zoro and Sanji aren't ready.

Again beating this dead horse but gotta say it again for fans to not get too high hopes unless Oda wants to make One Piece a power scale mess but Zoro and Sanji aren't ready to fight YC and top tiers and nothing prove that they are.


Luffy went through the development and got stronger each arc by getting intense fights while Zoro and Sanji are chilling and for them to jump from nothing to taking on YC ALONE would make absolute no sense in the story.

First we gotta remember who are the quality fighters that we should worry about and it's : Kaido , King , Queen , Jack , Page One , Ulti , Who's Who (?) , Black Maria , Apoo (assuming he ain't gonna snake Kaido and turn against him) , Fukurokuju , Hotei


My Predictions as of right now :

- Zoro goes up with Luffy somehow and fights an injured Jack who just came off beating the Dukes then teams up with the rest of the Supernovas to take down Kaido (and maybe he get the finishing blow idc) , also i would appreciate if Zoro gets to beat Hotei even offscreen as in his request to become the GOAT swordsman he hand't beaten many in his journey

- Sanji would would probably teamup with Jinbei to take on Queen just like he did with Wadatsumi (maybe Who's Who joins them in that fight as there's a storyline there) , and maybe he gets a secondary fight against Fukurokuju

- The rest of the SH i honestly don't know , their lack of Haki obviously means they can't compete with the remaining TobbiRoppo so Black Maria , Who's Who (?) , Page One , Ulti and Sasaki (?) so they will probably match up with fodders most likely

- As for King , I think it's pretty obvious he's fighting the strongest remaining fighter that didn't go up and that's Marco.

- Apoo has to go up and either he snakes Kaido and join the Supernova teamup or he fights Kidd up there

It's not for us to decide.

Zoro already aiming for Kaido's head alongside Luffy. Sanji is not far off too. And if you think about it, your match-ups would made OP powerscaling more messy, because we wouldn't know how strong Sanji and Zoro really are. YC3-? YC2+? YC1? Let them have their 1vs1 matches against Calamities and then Zoro helps with Kaido.

Going into this arc, i would've totally agreed with u, but then i saw the pacing, Oda's continuous statements of finishing OP and Sanji/Zoro's respective PU's.

And i find this still to be the most logical conclusion that Zoro/Sanji can't 1v1 King/Queen respectively and i think there's a high chance that they won't.

Fully agreed. Zoro will go up with Luffy just to find the majority of the Minks/Scabbards beaten, then Zoro High diffs a weakened Jack and goes on to fight Kaidou.

Generally i think that Oda will go to extreme lengths to throw us off with matchups to be unpredictable.

him aiming for Kaido doesn't make him stronger than YCs, he's not going solo vs Kaido it's like 6v1 if not more at this point

if you're ready to have the discussion that Luffy Post-Time skip is weaker than Zoro and Sanji then you're welcome to have it cause the mf took into insane battles to improve vs Doffy , Cracker and Kata (got help in all 3) while Zoro and Sanji were chilling (and don't throw at me Emna/Germa Suit these aren't comparable power ups to Luffy)

Luffy was struggling with Blueno without G2 yet a wounded Sanji beat Jabra (canonically 2.5 times stronger) mid diff. Who cares a bout who Luffy jobbed against in previous arcs. This is irrelevant to what is happening in Wano.
