Zoro and Sanji are only a good duo in terms of comedy and trashing each other. I also have no problem with them fighting together, but Zoro and Luffy duo is more consistent in terms of power scaling.

I just came over, saw a thread by my fam @BleakAsh and it turned to a clown fiesta because of opinion smashing and irrationality in discussions. Good ol' WG.

Just to smash my opinion on the table:
All duos are great! One could say that Sanji and Luffy have been a great duo during WCI. They haven't fought like a tag team, but they were reading each others minds, calculating their moves based on each other, coordinating themselves properly and how did it end? Sanji comming right into time to save Luffy from the battle grounds.
That is what I called a duality in that arc.

Luffy Zoro were great in the first half of Wano and same shit here, in comparison to Luffy/Sanji, Luffy/Zoro proved to be more on the frontline, more on the expedition side of things. No wonder people are wanking it more because most people are frontline addicted fightheads.

Sanji/Zoro is just more iconic because it doesn't focus on a single arc but it focusses throughout the whole story, both carry Luffy hard and they are a duality in form of Luffy's wings. This discussion should actually be over at this point because there are no other opinions to discover.
We can only discover the diversity and enjoy it each on their own way.

I have to disagree here. Even if there is a power gap between those two they still can be a duo, just because of their relationship to each other. For Sanji Zoro is his rival and vise versa. Sure that doesn't mean they are equal but that doesn't change their duo capabilities.

I don’t even think Zoro = Sanji because of the difference in portrayal, ambition, and FEATS but that doesn’t make them any less of a duo.

It’s always been Zoro > Sanji
