Its actually 5 scabbards rushing kaido (izo. kawamtsu, Raizo and Nekomamushi dont manage to hit kaido) and they DID NOT do more damage than the four scabbards at the end… mainly because those werent named attacks

Umm so you see the reasoning for coughing up blood is that wound penetrated skin deep enough.
I would like to show you scabbards final attack


No blood from mouth because wound is too shallow and Kaido himself shat all over this attack.

Compare this to Tatsumaki


A lot of blood coming out of Kaido's mouth and attack is even portrayed better
-Kaido said the attack hurts
-Big Mom mentions him cutting through Kaido
-Killer says he straight cut through scales.

Again this is one of the weakest of Zoro attacks ever. Its far below Shi Shi Son Son much less Hiryu Kaen which is below ISDS which is far below Ashura.

Conqueror's Coating scars Kaido because it increases the power behind your attack A LOT.
Zoro with his physicals and CoA can already generate extreme amount of power.
