Speculations Zoro getting a devil fruit sword?

How would you react if zoro got a sword with a devil fruit?

I think it would be kind of cool if he got an extra sword with a devil fruit. So not one of his 3 main swords but a 4th one which he can use as a kind of completely new fighting style as example only for ranged attacks/ defensive/ aoe damage for fodders.

What are some devil fruits you think would be OP as a sword?

1. Logia: i think almost every logia would work pretty well as a sword so theres not much to say.

2. Zoan: Zoan devil fruits would be more of a companion type weapon like the dog of Mr.3

3. Paramecia: these depend on the devil fruit. For example luffys fruit would probably be useless af on a sword. Otherwise whitebeards fruit would be hella op


I really dont think it is going to happen because zoro is already strong enough and that would be too much of a powerup. But i hope we will learn more about how weapon devilfruits work and what they are capable of.

That would be pretty cool imo. Maybe oda can stop portaying chopper as the SH pet if this happens

I meant to say that Zoro with whatever DF is gonna look weird as hell. Of all the SHs, he just exudes an aura of utmost incompatibility with any DF of any kind. I just cannot begin to imagine it.

Yeah thats actually the reason for my idea although i couldnt imagine how oda would make this work power whise while kaidos fruit it really strong

I wouldnt like it because it taints what Zoro stands for but if I were to entertain the idea, I would pick a sword with Marco's DF.
Indestructible/sword which regenerates and can heal its user, sounds like the best possible combo.

Marcos devil fruit really sounds like a good one for a sword but i wonder if you could use it to damage other people or even fight. Maybe other sword will pass right through it if the others persons haki isnt strong enough

The Grandmaster is already a devil fruit and ancient weapon by himself, he will regardless from jokes most likely reject the offchance just like Mihawk did. Actually eating a devil fruit to surpass Mihawk would presumably be perceived as an act of dishonor from the Grandmaster side if the aim is to surpass Hawkeye, so I don't think he likely will even if a major occasion presents itself.

Its not possible unless you can incorporate Vegapunks Pacifista idea of implementing Kizaru's lazers into cyborgs.
That is the closet a logia or Parmecia gets to being used by an object as a devil unless further developed by Vegapunk ONLY ZOANS DEVIL FRUITS CAN BE EATEN BY OBJECTS.

That is by himself eating. But what about his swords? Wouldn't be a swordsmanship challenge to TAME a Zoan Sword? Wild Animal Sword? Imagine a wild cursed blade with demon inside AND a wild untamed animal DF like... idk, scorpion I guess?
