Anime & Manga Zoro has better observation than sanji it's fact.

First let's talk about sanji feats.
Sanji observation feats are mostly able to hear or sense woman voice before anyone. But that's same for zoro and luffy. They are able to sense sake and meat before anyone.
Sanji next feat is dodging jellybean

But we all know that katakuri only saw sanji dodging priest bullet so he threw another one. Beside katakuri can't change jellybean direction once it's fired. So just like any other bullet sanji gets same time to react to that jellybean (The time after bullet is fired to till it reaches sanji)

Now let's focus on zoro feats.
Zoro was able to sense Batman and react to his arrow before luffy could do. And we all know luffy is master of observation.

Luffy senses Batman later on and ask who is there.
Now to next feat.
Zoro warned luffy about kaido before kaido even attacked again showing his superior observation.
zoro also could sense Kiku was man which sanji or luffy couldn't.

Above all zoro in alabasta was able to see where stone would fall before it even fall which is similar to Fs.
in above points zoro showed various types of observation feats.
but zoro has another feats which shows he has island level observation.
i.e. being able to sense hiyori playing shamisen from the other side of the islan.
Zoro was on the right side fighting king

While hiyori was in the treasure room

Zoro sensed hiyori while on opposite side.
An island level observation.
Compared to zoro sanji observation is trash.
sanji has very weak haki

How is that not CoO feat if Sanji doesn't know where the sniper is? And the sniper's specialty is shooting at a long distance. No reason to think the distance was 8 metres or less lol.

Both kinemon swordsmanship and cake are talent not coo.
Sanji able to find out ingredients and zoro able to use kinemon technique both are cooking and swordsmanship talent.

My two cents: I care more about cool than I do about "proper" scaling when Oda himself isn't good at that, so I'm just happy with the "Zoro wakes up to casually block a rankyaku bigger than Sunny before getting up". Immediately reminded me of Whitebeard waking up to assassination attempts but even cooler.

I used to think that Oda said Luffy was gonna be the best with CoC, Zoro with CoA and Sanji with CoO, and that Sanji should be better than Zoro with CoO and Zoro better than Sanji with CoA.

But suddenly, Luffy has advanced CoO which was supposed to be Sanji's forte. Now I understand that Oda was not comparing them, just saying which was their best attribute.

So yeah, Zoro has shown better haki feats than Sanji and sometimes even than Luffy.
