All the die hard Zolo fanboys say Shiryu fighting and killing Mihawk is ridiculous however I've yet to hear a logical reason why Mihawk and Zoro would even fight after the timeskip and how this would make narrative sense to the story with where we are.
To be honest Mihawk dying to Shiryu sneak attack perhaps makes a lot more sense than Oda randomly throwing in a Zoro vs Mihawk just so sword swallowers can fangirl over it.
Let’s throw away dream one of the main character has been chasing since ch3 as it makes rat fanbase and mc fanboys insecure because it’s by far most anticipated fight in the series. Shouldn’t you guys be looking forward to your mc meeting up with the snitch rather than crying Loda ruin Zoro dream

Luffy and Blackbeard still makes sense because they are enemies fighting for the same prize if Blackbeard was to train Luffy I'd say the exact same thing.

Again another durp Luffy fans this and that. Man you guys are obsessed lmao.
I don't actually care about Shanks lol I care about this from a story POV Luffy vs Shanks in a fight makes about as much sense as Mihawk vs Zoro it doesn't.
Defeating Mihawk is not specifically Zoro's dream is it? That's a bit dishonest. Zoro's dream is to be the world's greatest swordsmen meaning the who he beats doesn't matter. The who only matters to you.
Zoro vs Mihawk is not important to the story in comparison to the Strawhats getting to laughtale as this has a plot purpose to the story also.
Name me one plot purpose that Zoro vs Mihawk has without saying Zoro's dream when I've proved it's not.
To say the idea of Zoro vs Mihawk not happening is retarded is just short sighted the same way saying Shanks vs Luffy might not happen. Explain to me how Zoro vs Mihawk happens to satisfy your headcanon all the while making sense with the length left of the story.
Mihawk training Zoro was the worst thing that could have happened to the Zoro vs Mihawk agenda ngl.

Sneak attack on “Hawkeye” whose epithet is clairvoyant, shrugged off to Shanks future sight and likely has an ability that makes Viola’s DF look small in comparison? The man was glaring over Marijoa from his castle and said something is happening at the Reverie when there was noway to tell what was happening inside from outside.
His promise was to never lose again one could argue he has but if we take it in the sense he means to lose on his journey to be WSS then I guess we can say he's kept that.
Luffy is going to beat Roger by exceeding him this could also be how Zoro beats Mihawk again you may not like it but it's definitely a possibility of happening.
See you ignored my question on how Zoro vs Mihawk with the length and arcs left seems a bit convenient for you doesn't it
So in the length we have we're going to be able to do SH vs CG, SH vs BB, SH vs RH and SH vs WG? All this in one final arc all the while making it make sense

Anyone can be taken by surprise. Mihawk isn't a invincible character same with Shanks. Under the right circumstance even Mihawk could be sneak attacked and it appears Oda is going out of his way to show Shiryu doing this. First with Moria and then with Garp.

TBH I agree SH vs RH pirates but if we go by Luffy's goal of beating Shanks crew why is that goal any less than Zoro vs Mihawk.
For the record I don't think Shanks will fight fight Luffy I think he gets done in by Blackbeard but that being said I don't see how SH vs CG makes sense either.
I know Oda said 5 years and that was bullshit but we are on the final slope to the end it sounded in his last message Oda didn't really want to go to Elbaf lol. This is the last arc and think about what has still got to happen and then think logically how does a Zoro vs Mihawk happen that has narrative sense to the end of the series.
Personally I'm thinking CG and RH team up and actually get wiped out by BB.

And this means what in the grand scheme of the plot? How does it fit with leading to Laughtale, beating the World Goverment.
Zoro vs Mihawk at this point just seems to be a Zoro fanboys fanfiction where the two meet on an unknown island and have a 15 chapter fight lol.
If anything Zoro vs Mihawk would probs be done post the story via SBS.
