for that the position of the eye don't make sense , Luffy is a lot closer to the camera then Zoro and the position of the eye is too far left for that be the case but i guess it's debatable

He is the incarnation of ryuma just like luffy is joyboy's.
I believe that ryuma and joyboy were together at some point and opposed the WG.
