I mean, he rescued the princess in distress, aka the reason why everyone gather. And he also clapped her cheeks. That sounds like an MVP to me

at first i had zoro/brook vs gunko

but its less likely cuz they would need to bring gunko back to the good side
the only one who can do it is luffy

Yeah but Luffy will obviously be occupied with Imu

so Zoro is the only one who can handle Gunko as Sanji obviously won’t fight a woman and Jinbe already got low diffed by base Gunko and would probably get easily DR’d by Imunko.
