at first i had zoro/brook vs gunko

but its less likely cuz they would need to bring gunko back to the good side
the only one who can do it is luffy

Yeah but Luffy will obviously be occupied with Imu

so Zoro is the only one who can handle Gunko as Sanji obviously won’t fight a woman and Jinbe already got low diffed by base Gunko and would probably get easily DR’d by Imunko.

Super Sommers could be a good opponent. King hadn't shown too much until just before Zoro vs King and he was powerful and required a lot from Zoro. I don't think Super Sommers will be a harder opponent for current Zoro, but after Omen he can be as strong as Oda wants.

I'm hoping he has awakening. We saw Luffy deal with it against Doflamingo and Katakuri, could be nice to see Zoro slice through tons of thorns reinforced with armament haki. Otherwise it just seems like a tune-up fight and that's ok, but I'd rather Super Sommers push Zoro to need to refine his ACOC after the Imu encounter.

Oda hasn't really built up Zoro encountering anyone this arc, so it's not like Zoro needed someone else, Super Sommers could work and I'm looking forward to it.

Exactly its hilarious that people think Zoro's too good for Super Sommers. Its like he's done nothing that would make me think he'd be able to bully the base version let alone the super up version. His mobility is embarrassing and his ACoC lethality is abysmal.

Oda almost never even shows us half of a characters kit before they have a full fight so Super Sommers could actually be that guy

King had the Lunarian durability and magma dragons, Queen had the Germa modifications, and Kaido had the drunken forms + Blazing Bagua

Super Sommers could be him. Oda might cook

Imunko, Kham and Super Super Sommers are trash.

My ideal combat path for Zoro in Elbaph would be: defeating DR Giants (leading the giants and honing his ACoC), then defeating Killingham/Super Super Sommers (killing a Knight of God), and finally fighting DR Loki (a Straw Hat group battle, possibly ending with ZKL).
