Also you forget that Kuma works directly for the Revolutionaries. His goal was never to kill Luffy.
Luffy would've found another right hand to get his dream. The whole reason why Luffy is such a powerful figure is because of his ability to attract others to his cause. According to Mihawk that is the more fearsome power for a pirate.

Sanji would have taken the damage in zoro's place, maybe die since he was already in a worse condition than zoro (hurting his leg because he doesn't use swords, and getting stabbed in the chest)... But still would have made sure luffy would survive !

Zoro is the most loyal strawhat period.
I know that all the strawhats will give their life for Luffy if needed but zoro has complete trust to Luffy..
If Luffy break the strawhat pirates or dies than zoro would probably go the mihawk route..
I would prefer for him to have a family with hiyori but oda doesn't like romances.lol..

Honest question, why is the "Grandmaster" bewildering, exactly? Is he confusing, very hard to understand and such, and in a negative way? I'm curious because I've seen you using it more than once but Zoro doesn't really fit there for me.
