Zoro knows what conqueror is. Brook asks him when Kaido is lifting Onigashima. But he didn't knew he had it. We never saw Oden using it like Luffy. Ashura said he had too.

Luffy just knew it because Rayleigh told him it was that and taught him how to control.

Rayleigh knew Luffy had CoC because Luffy used it infront of literally everyone at Marineford lol. Zoro has never done anything like that before and as far as we know Wano is the first time he's used it.
