Exactly. We tried to tell people that back then but certain fans didn't want to hear it. Now, it's some of those same fans that are going crazy over the current editor notes.
How do you know Zoro's part is true? Simple, by Zoro cutting completely through King's wing which is more durable than Kaido's body/scales.
The manga proved King's wings are more durable than Kaido's body/scales by him blocking Zoro's Dragon twister with his wings.
Zoro easily cut through Kaido body/scales with his dragon twister.

Kaido being less durable than his underling goes against everything we were shown about Kaido, let alone other villains and their subordinates.
Kadio was injured by Oden...20 years ago. Saying that Kaido didn't grow stronger than that till the current time is disingenious at best. We even have in world confirmation from Garp that both him and Big Mom have grown stronger.
Second of all, 2 shot? A person that was almost 2 shot wouldn't have the strength to hold their weapon properly, let alone to knock out his assailant, which Kaido did.
Furthermore, we were never shown Kaido fighting Oden in his hybrid form making that not peak Kaido by default. And even more than that, some fans will say Oden 2 shot him meanwhile it was said in the manga that "the battle was a long one" (chapter 970), i.e. they were fighting for some time. That automatically excludes a 2 shot.
And even more than that, Zoro cut of King's wing. A wing, dude. He didn't cleave him in half or cut of his arm or leg, where you would have actual skin and better muscle. But a wing.
Oden cut Kaido's torso. Zoro gave him a papercut there too. But to slice him in two? No way.

Katakuri had better CoO than Big Mom and nobody questioned it. Yet, when the manga makes it clear King is harder to damage than Kaido, by having greater durability and endurance, and all of a sudden it's questioned and told that can't happen.
Kaido increasing his overall strength doesn't increase his durability. It's the same since he fought Oden. Similar to how Luffy's rubber body keeps the same durability. Even in awakening, Luffy's rubber body is vulnerable to cutting attacks.
Why are you using rooftop Zoro's feat and power level instead of post ACoC Zoro's power who has much greater power.
Oda hardly allow characters to lose limbs or be cut in half so that excuse doesn't work. Remember, Mr.1 used a cutting attack that somehow cut the pillar behind Zoro into pieces but couldn't do the same to Zoro.

And as for the slicing people in half, and losing limbs, it was you who said that Kaido could be sliced in half by Zoro. Afaik we have see limbs be cut of plenty of times (one of those Law in DR) but someone cleaved in two? I guess Kinemon counts
