Speculations Zoro vs Qilingham

I think this is the most likely Zoro fight. Out of the two HKs, Sommers was already defeated once. Typically Oda wouldn’t dehype Zoro’s opponent(tho it did happen in egghead).

More than that, Sommers’s whole passion thing and his fight with Gaban leads me to think he’s a Sanji fight. Sanji is Gaban 2.0 after all.

With Zoro vs Qilingham, the big thing will probably be Zoro defeating a nightmare created by Qilingham. So I wanted to speculate on what that could be. I think there are 3 possibilities, but let me know if there are more you can think of.

1. Kuina
2. Mihawk
3. Death

I think Kuina makes the most sense. She was Zoro’s childhood rival, and we know Zoro has some hesitancy when fighting women. Oda could use Qilingham to do Zoro vs adult Kuina.

Nightmare Mihawk could be used by Oda to explore Zoro’s timeskip training.

Lastly, we did see Zoro hallucinate death in Wano so this could be a good callback to that. Zoro could master ACoC, beat death, and become king of hell.

Ultimately I think Zoro vs his nightmare will probably be the main focus of this fight. After the nightmare falls, I think Qilingham himself will fall quite shortly after.

Zoro vs Kuina would be dumb.
Why would Zoro ever consider Kuina a nightmare?
She is his best friend, the logic doesnt add up.

Mihawk is also a bad option.
We will not get to see Zoro vs Mihawk before it is time for Zoro vs Mihawk.

Death is the most logical option here.
However, this would not be the real death, imo.
If it is, Zoro would by far have the strongest opponent in Elbaf.

Imu and all his bois would look silly compared to Death.
On the other hand, we already had Zoro with the toughest challenge in Wano...
...so it wouldnt be that surprising either if Zoro's opponent is the biggest problem.

Killingham himself is unlikely going to be something amazing but I could be wrong.
The good thing about Zoro vs Killingham is that it kisses Zoro vs Venus goodbye.
Zoro wont fight 2 centaurs. Also, looking forward to Zoro vs Imu as well.

That method to kill the Holy Knights also works on the demonized Giants btw.

The biggest issue with Wings vs GW is that Dorry and Brogy are not villains. They are merely being controlled by Imu’s hax.

They don’t need to be defeated, the SHs simply need to interfere with Imu’s powers. Oda could easily have Usopp and Hajrudin do that with the help of others.

The HKs actually need to be defeated tho

I think the Wings against two giant co captains who got turned evil and got wings, is the best fight for them.
wings all around.

It also ties all the whole damn way back to when we met giants in one piece for the first ever time in one piece.

Little Garden was the "official" start of the Zoro and Sanji rivalry and gave us Dorry and Broggy's hunting competition as a parallel to Zoro and Sanji's own hunting competition there.

Perfect full circle moment.
