General & Others Zoro vs Sanji is the most forced "rivalry" of all time

Never in the story was Sanji ever written to be equal with Zoro strength wise. His goal, compared to Luffy and Zoro is not competitive. He has never had a fight in which he had to push his body beyond his limits like those 2.

It makes more sense strength AND popularity wise, to compare Zoro to Luffy and not Sanji.

I wouldn’t call it a gag, it just isn’t a completely antagonistic rivalry and it doesn’t mean they are equals in strength but the rivalry is very real. The nature of their rivalry just isn’t one where they’re trying to kill each other but they use each other as a measuring stick all the time.

It’s funny btw that we bring up bounty now when sanji’s is only 10 million higher than zoro’s. If you read One piece you will realize that they are not in the same level,zoro is stronger and that has been showed since East blue,Sanji is not weak though but is spot is 3rd stronger wich been a cook and not having a dream related to fight is a very good feat,besides he is stronger than an former warlord like Jinbe

Little Garden where their rivalry was paralleled by the LITERAL fight of rivals who were near equal in strength happening right on the damn island
The Davy back fight

Enies Lobby where the difference in strength between their opponents was virtually non existent
