Speculations Zoro's Awakening happening after Gear 5 awakening - implications

#1
Gear 5 - Sun god awakening is the worst ass-pull, we can all agree to that. But the timing of it seems a bit off.
Usually we would see sanji/zoro's power-up happening before luffy's.
Granted, zoro technically had the ACoc power-up before luffy's gear 5.
But I am talking about the ultimate power-up that zoro is about to get.... whatever outcome that emerges out his encounter with the grim-reaper and then succeeding as the "King of Hell".

What are the reasonings behind not displaying zoro's awakening prior to G5 awakening?
I don't think zoro's awakening will be as impressive as G5 awakening for sure, but it does beg the question of how big of a power-up it will be.

The only other power up left I can see him getting this arc is forging a black blade, which we still have nearly 0 information about

I would disagree.
Epithets are very important in OP.
Think Joyboy, sun-god, dark king, etc.

Zoro becoming "King of Hell" would be more than just forging black blades. Otherwise, mihawk and whitebeard would be King of Hell too lmfao

If Zoro's brush with death does result in him getting some kind of PU then it could just be a case of it not coming to play until his next major fight. Kinda like Sanji receiving the raid suit at the end of Whole Pie Island.

Im afraid that grade swords might have an awakening too
:seriously:
I don't know if its a good or bad thing
We will wait and see.

I dont think forging a black blade is a result of a "sword awakening it's personality"

The only think I'd be cool with that's on the odd end is if somehow Enma ate Kaido's devil fruit after Kaido dies

It sounds interesting, but what would that look like?

I honestly am not sure.
I would hope it is not as outrageous as gomu gomu no mi being the sun-god mythical zoan devil fruit.

The most logical explanation would be the awakening/opening of zoro's left eye, but then again, oda's ridiculous handling of luffy's DF is not making feel confident about this.
