Dont give too much credit to those openings, they are usually just hype device, they had Sanji fighting Kizaru before...
Surely sometimes they spoil things but the only swordsman worth Zoro's time on Egghead is Kizaru.

It's Lucci...

He's been fighting him in the background for like 10 chapters now.

That's how arc main fights usually go.

They get started. Then after a few chapters, oda dedicates one or two chapters specifically for that fight.


S hawk was just a clash. Else are y'all z fans saying lanji also beat a seraph?

I don’t think Egghead is a fighting arc. Zoro will get to beat an opponent because he generally always does, but it’s a bit PH. Luffy gets a fight with Saturn, Zoro gets a fight with Lucci, Kuma contributes to Saturn, but that’s about it, and none of them are big gargantuan multi-chapter ones like on Wano. Luffy’s face off with Saturn will be longer, but might have a different kind of ending from the usual Luffy punch out.

So Zoro’s “main fight” as a one vs one will be Lucci, but I’ll be surprised if it get’s any real focus. I think it’s just to keep Zoro occupied, give him a decent strength scalp without too much work. I’m honestly expecting it to be mostly off-panelled and we just cut back to it and Lucci is defeated and they’ll just let the anime cover it.

He might then run around and have a few skirmishes with other characters (S Hawk).

Would you be surprised if Zoro comes in and one-shots Kizaru, who will obviously continue to be an obstacle? :quest:

It's literally hakiless Swords and one panel with Haki on it , not even AdCoC.
AdCoC never had this small Sparks.
It's CoA.
Oda making Zoro stall purposely or else In front of saturn situstion would be different now.
He doesn't stab like bonney lol. He would bite saturn for a new scar.
