So my current theory is that Mihawk is connected to Im. Them having the same type of eyes is also smth to consider.

One of the things we know about Im is that hes old af. Another one of the characters with those eyes is Zunesha who is also old af.

Those eyes could relate to a very old civilization. Hakuba might be a spirit possesing Cavandish.

I don't look at the anime seriously, not that it's too different in the manga, but I wasn't referring to the shape, rather the triggered modality. For example Mihawk is another analogue for it, but unlike Hakuba he stands that way all the time as Im also seems to be doing despite we know little of him. So what I was attempting to suggest is that I prefer to take Mihawk as the best paradigm despite all is still possible, I could have specified that.

But yea of the 4 characters that have those eyes 1 of them isnt human, another's is only temporary and all 4 have different colors. There is little consistency between the 4 of them aside from how theyre drawn, but still confident its all connected.

Yes, I have been keeping an eye on Hakuba as well, for now I'm more focused on Mihawk but nevertheless I'm not forgetting the latter either.
