Wait, everything Ryuma related can be read in Monster, though?

All Oda said is that Ryuma from Monsters is the same as Ryuma from One Piece. For example, Ryuma is meant to have killed a dragon over the Flower Capital, but that location doesn't exist in Monsters.

Another interesting thing to note is how Zoro's potential connection to one of the Wisdom Kings hasn't been explored at all. If Luffy's G4 is enough to spark a comparison to a Wisdom King, then Zoro's Asura will likely be enough too.

Asura hasn't been compared to anything because no one from Wano has seen it. Perhaps this suggests Zoro will use it once again?

I am glad that you made this thread @Cinera!

The majority of Zoro threads are combat or power level discussions. I expect that because he is a combatant. For a combat feat, I want Zoro to turn one of his blades black and decapitate Kaido.

I enjoy that Zoro has so many narrative connections to Wano. Oda really emphasized both Zoro and Luffy's connection to Wano.

I personally want to see the connection between Zoro and the Shimotsuki clan. I am hoping that once that is revealed, I will learn more about Zoro's backstory. For all intents and purposes, Zoro is the deuteroganist and we know the least about him. I like to believe that Oda will reveal more about Zoro and his backstory, and I will be let down if there is little to no reveal.

Since Wano was known as the land of gold, I wonder if there is any hidden gold in the country? One Piece is a pirate manga, it would be awesome if the Strawhats found lost gold on Wano. (A la Skypeia) If that doesn't happen, it isn't a big deal because finding gold in Wano wasn't the goal of the arc.

- His origins
- His connection with Asura
- His true connection with Ryuma

We are not sure if Ashura is CoC or if Zoro used Adv CoC while using Ashura since it was extreme situation and his haki bloomed. I rather Or it can be both.

zoros backstory will be op best backstory ever. 10 of stawhats, we already saw 9 Backstorys 1 left its zoro's. even useless sanji got backstory

I don't think Oda needs to explain why he likes swords. In fact I think it's less interesting for a writer to explain something that you wouldn't have to explain with a real person.

If he simply liked swords he would have aimed to become a sword collector like Tashigi, and thats not the case at all for Zoro.

• how zoro's master illegally escape from wano over 50y ago
• how zoro's master becomes zoro's master
• how zoro's master got Wado but not enma
• who are Zoro's parents,
• whos that fox owner from the strongest shimotsuki clan
• where is Zoro's fucking backstory
• why they still hide ryuma's GOD DAMN FACE
• where is Ryumas major plot Flashback that he slaying Dragon above Capital
• zoro is the 2nd character who used conq haki in the entire series after shanks (shanks vs seaking, kaku vs zoro), but why oda didn't confirm it until ch1010
• is zoro's Conq haki god level that he can create illusions with coc
• why toki came from ryumas era over like 800years ego,

whole wano plotline connect with zoro

oda made such a wasting WCI arc that luffy let to fight with YC1 & surpass kata for just come close to base zoro's level. just look at sanjis backstory. I mean cmon man what a waste of episodes.

2-he didn't escape his father kozaboro who did and oda explain it in sbs its not important to give it mkre details.

I find it a real missed opportunity to not have Zoro at least meet the blacksmith who's a descendant of the one who forged the Kitetsu blades, to reveal new infos on his blades and the Kitetsu line and to explore some of Wano history and culture.
