It has opened its Mouth
The unholy beast

Fire, Water, Earth, Air
It wields them all
It is broken beyond repair
It will never fall

"What am I?"
It once asked
"The sky is so high
The desert so vast

But what purpose is there
For a creature like me?"
With great despair
It just wanted to be free

Once upon a time there was a lil' amoeba in the sea, he was doing whatever it is that amoebas do. That was until a fateful day when he gained enough experience points to evolve into a multi-cellular organism. Before long he entered a state of rapid evolution, where somewhere along the way he met with the original apex lifeform of the oceans, instinctively recognising their authority and biological supremacy.
