Guess Iran finally had their regime change. Not a fan of Khamenei really, but it's ridiculous seeing USA take out countries on the other side of their map.

It definitely does matter. They lost a well recognizable figure head, and it plays into intimidation factor. It also proves that USA can roll over the Iranian military without much trouble. IF USA wants it, regime change will happen. Their only chance is Russia or China coming for help (unlikely).

@grey matter yeah, it matters. The US was stupid enough to turn an ailing 86 year old cleric dying of cancer in his own home into an immortal martyr for the Islamic Republic to rally around. The IR's legitimacy is based on martyrdom and resistance. The US just gave it both in spades. Killing Khamenei is objectively retarded.

Khamenei openly desired martyrdom. He didn't even try to hide in a bunker. He wanted a missile to the face. The US just delivered a Make a Wish missile.

Got you. I reiterate, I have deep connections in Spain. I had a part time job lined up at the time and I had family there. I can see you’re in a precarious situation if you are being forced to leave. If I were you, I’d go to a country where you feel you could easily adjust and communicate. If you know people that can host you there that’s even better.

Thanks. No, unfortunately I have nobody abroad, the only language I know for now is English. The only country that I can go that is also English speaking is Ireland. Other English speaking countries are too expensive, can't go there, at least for now.

Ideally I'd like to go either Australia or New Zealand, but again, waaay too expensive.
