That's not even a nerf. It's his own choices (never recall orochi restraining his weapons). That's like saying luffy was nerfed against kaido because he didn't use king kong gun.
Nerf thing is just lame excuses tranji boys/zoro haters make because their reading comprehension is below grade schoolers

What makes you think he chosed those scythes? Where is that showed, hinted or implied? Nothing points at that, stop it.
You really think Orochi would've left him with his signature weapons? Please leave aside the usual bullshit 'he was working for him so bla bla bla..'
Orochi is a coward, he would never well-equipe a man (that he knows fought Kaido and from which he is hated) with his personal weapons. If Killer really chosed those weapons he would be using those scythes even now, but guess what? He doesn't

What showed or hinted that he got his usual weapons confiscated then?
the kaido bit is just stretching too far. If anything, orochi should not care much about killer since he knew kaido beat him. And if he is so cautious of killer, he would just put him in prison in shackles rather than letting him roam free.

The fact that he had not the Punishers with him? Or the fact that he reminded that to Zoro? Chose the one you prefer
You're assuming that Killer felt that was the right time to try new weapons as an hobby, while his captain was in jail and he was working under a slimy snake. That's for sure in Killer character yeah...

choose another one, i guess. Because what you said didn't answer the question. Killer was the fool who didn't bother to use his "punishers". I already explain it with an analogy of luffy without king kong gun, but of course you failed to cite that
When did i say killer try new weapon as hobby? It just meant that killer was confident to use his scythes. Show the panel where orochi confiscated his weapons, not your mental gymnastics

You should show me the panel in which Killer deliberatily chooses those scythes, not the other way around. Manga proves my facts that he was nerfed, you're stating the opposite and bringing headcanons to prove it. I don't know if I should laugh at you or ignore you.
Bring me here the panel in which Killer "did'n bother to use his signature weapons" then
