Killer’s arm is horribly burnt, you can see it better when Oda drew it
Honestly I know it’s a simple design change but it’s so damn cool, makes Killer unique for me as we don’t get many injuries like that in One Piece. I wonder, seeing as his loyalties are strong. Maybe he tried to stop Kid from getting injured but it wasn’t enough and Kids arm was taken yet Killer still got injured in a futile attempt to save him. Like it just makes me wonder what went down against the battle between the Red Hair Pirates, the anime implies that Shanks cut his arm and leads many to believe that but what if it was something to do with somebody’s ability or power. THE DOOR TO SPECULATE REMAINS OPEN
.So you want to make your logic based on that panel? Okay. The next panel had zoro said that the outcome would be the same, not different. Killer is not nerfed then, following your logic there.
Only thing we saw was orochi offered killer the chance to save his captain...and why he became assassin. I said that killer picked the scythes by his own choice, because there was no proof that he was somehow restrained from using punishers. You said he was nerfed. You made the claim. Bring the proof that he was forbid from using scythes then

All the things you're saying regarding Killer choosing his weapons are not in the manga, mine are supported by panels and if what you say is true there would be really no logic.
Why should Zoro choose to use random halberds instead of his swords? No reason in the world, especially in a critical situation
Why should Killer choose to use random scythes instead of his blades? No reason in the world, especially in a critical situation

He definitely needs more depth just like Kidd.
I never considered Kidd and Killer to be counterparts to Luffy and Zoro.
All we know is that Kidd is a more evil version of Luffy without plot armor.
Dude did nothing during the timeskip besides injuring a YC.
He needs more depth if Oda wants to put him next to a guy who beat 2 Yonko commanders in the same arc and few weeks laters grows enough to damage Kaido.
Any damage that Kidd does to Kaido will be a massive mystery since Kidd is surprised that punches can hurt Kaido like wtf dude?

Not a nerf but his own fault for not using it when he should have and to begin with, there is no telling if he'd stop Zoro's Haki even he did use it.

I dunno Oda making some weird choices this arc I can’t lie. This is legit why I said they should’ve shown the other supernova and their crews more this arc so people would put faith in them later in the arc. Oda wasted the BM pirates we could have had some interesting interactions between them and Luffy & Kid. We could even have had some warm up fights before the final battle but we didn’t get anything and frankly it sucks lol.
I don’t even understand what he’s doing with everyone on the roof. Like yeah they’ll get their moments 100% but why have the first few panels being everyone talking about Luffys new haki and it injuring Kaido just got Kid, Killer, Zoro and Law to attack Kaido afterwards with attacks that aren’t coated in haki. Like he really had law use takt on some rocks like he didn’t try that on smoker and Doffy and still did nothing......LIKE COME ON ODA.
why would kid and killer be surprised that a punch works for him to try and press Kaido with metal like he really thought it was gonna do damage.
Like I see what Oda is trying to do and calling them monsters, but I’d rather that have come later when they actually use some decent attacks because frankly nothing they did last chapter was impressive. Red roc was sexy but the level of attacks we get in 1001 make everything just seem so meh.
