Zoro's taken a slash across the torso, nearly cut off his legs, and now lost his eye in his pursuit to the top. No one can say he hasn't been putting in the effort, or that his path was "easy."

I dunno, but if Oda had plans for Zoro to lose an eye early on and then more recently said he was saving the eyepatch for something/someone special...

It would be kinda weird if Zoro loses an eye but some other character loses an eye AND has an eyepatch on top. Pretty sure Zoro is the only person with an eye scar that's missing an eye.

Feel like Zoro's potential eyepower can only be triggered under specific circumstances for now, which are unknown. For sure we know Zoro can consciously trigger Asura at least, as he displayed constantly. I still laugh when I hear it's not this way.
