It's not just the DC Zoro displayed here (I don't think he's displayed it elsewhere with Ittoryu, it's also the attack potency. By portrayal, Hiryuu Kaen was vastly more potent than Kong Rifle).

Basically, yeah. The supermajority of the damage Zoro will do to Kaido will be in one attack. Kaido is not going to be tanking several attacks of the calibre of Hiryuu Kaen.


That said, I don't think Hiryuu Kaen oneshots Kaido, it would just severely fuck him over.

I'm saying there's a specific way that you can use to pierce through a durable armor, without exerting the most attack power.

For example Zoro's attack of choice to cut something durable has been Lions Song for the longest time, but that doesn't unleash nearly as much attack power as Zoro's high end Santoryu techniques.

That said, Hiryuu Kaen had exaggerated DC (slicing of one of Oars horns), though, so I don't think it was anything like that. The attack just seems to be very powerful.

So far Zoro never failed to tag the yonko so if he can tag them he is 100% tagging Mingo. Oda disproved this meme of Big Mom and Kaido being slow long long ago, first by the time Kaido blitzed Luffy at the beginning of the arc, then when Kaido and Big Mom fought one against the other.

Zoro has has only hit Kaido because he did not bother to block or dodge .
At this point someone hitting Kaido more common than him doing anything about it .

Don't see why we judging other Yonko or charcaters on Kaido fighting style when someone like BM another yonko not going take a attack just because it fun .

I don’t think Oda will put the fights like that. The only split two I can see is like towards the end a haki clash between kidd luffy kaido and big mom but I think Oda is gonna play the dynamic of everyone attacking whoever.

If the cutting strength of normal Enma can threat the life of the most durable character, tf would supreme-grade Enma do? The amount of hype Zoro has earned this chapter is so enormous that not only Mihawk, but even his swordsmen rivals like Shanks got slightly hyped based on it imo, Oda is going to wank the shit out of these Meito blades at the endgame when we see Shodai Kitetsu and the remaining supreme-grade weapons.

Y'all sleeping on Gandhi, he could arguably slice through Kaido like butter with Shodai.

it's simple bro ; the hype gained by Zoro goes directly to Mihawk and by then shanks his rival also goes to teach who scared shanks on guard and shiryu his next opponent ( and that hypes teach ) .

Big Mom’s lightning ap is much higher than her fire ap. The bon bon thing was a gag, and if you actually look at Killer, he looks done. I don’t think Law will be able to tank something that Killer can’t.

Kidd's whole fighting style and abilities seems to be more suited to fighting BM than Kaido who he admitted himself that he couldn't really cut.

Btw Oda is working to mine Sanji's result in the popularity poll. He is the only one of the ones that frequently reach the podium that didn't appear in any of the chapter released with or after the beginning of the popularity poll (1000, 1001 and 1002) while the other three (Law, Luffy and Zoro) all appeared fighting.
I doubt that in 2 or 3 chapters Sanji is going to do something impressive. Oda is evil

It's a combination of the two i think.

It has the special type of penetration to go through the initial armor, as well as the attack power once past it to actually deal more than shallow damage to Kaido.

Luffy couldn't tank all the damage he took in thriller bark either but Zoro could plus more. So i would say if luffy can tank it so can Zoro
