To be honest, I find that Oda failed big time with the Gifters and even more so the Headliners. All those guys are jokes, there is litteraly not one of them worth shit, they are glorified fodder, yet it seems that most SH are at best able to handle those. Basically, only Luffy, Zoro, Jinbe and Sanji seems able to deal with them easily, even Franky, Robin and Brook don't have great feats against them, which sucks.

Franky actually has decent feats against Sasaki's Headliner Squad

Honestly Jabra and Kaku were so close and yet Jabra was able to move whilst using tekkai, use 10 finger shigan, had a carnivorous zoan devil fruit like lucci. I feel like that whole Doroki was just to separate Rob from the rest rather.

I think they were actually that close pre-ts but Oda has been portraying Luffy and Zoro separately since the timeskip. Like giving them top-tier masters and not Sanji. Also, those 2 being on the roof and not Sanji is a big proof too.

At the end of the day Sanji isn’t a supernova/worst gen, up until the point where they are heading for the roof, Luffy and Jinbe included, I thought they’ll all be up there. But after the journal I didn’t really care anymore Jinbe and Sanji were never gonna be there, as much as I love them both.

Facts. He keeps adding new characters that I couldn't care less and waste panels on their backstory. I mean it's been 20 years already. Give us Shanks, Dragon, admirals, and Blackbeard stories.

Kaido's fruit being the mythical model of the Uo Uo fruit not only makes total sense but was arguably one of the best twists Oda has come up with in recent years. And people trying to downplay him by saying he's just a fish, calling him Koido, etc. only reveal themselves to be ignorant on, if not Eastern culture, at least its concept of dragons.

??? The roof are the "Supernova" which Oda made in Sabaody last minute. He picked a 100+ million barrier, and Sanji was below while Zoro 120 mill.

Sanji is clearly stronger than half the Supernova easily.

But that’s just typical Sanji Zoro gag and humour that we’ve been craving since, Dressrosa manga days. It’s been years since we have them interact like this but I think Oda left it a bit too long that people are actually taking what they’re saying as genuinely serious lol. Zoro and Sanji both respect each other and know they’re both strong. They know the bounty means nothing either.

Sanji doesn’t need a high bounty to prove he’s strong, none of the strawhats do.

It means shit when they're in the same crew and the characters are fighting over it. Same shit that happened with Kaku/Jabra and Doriki.

You got the ring leader Luffy/Lucci/Kaido, and the 2 top subordinates fighting with one another Zoro/Sanji - Kaku/Jabra - King/Queen. Pretty basic Oda trope.
