It doesn't make any sense.
Oda is only doing that because otherwise Luffy will outshine all the SN there so he has to come up with some stalling situation to prevent Luffy from continuing to fight head on. He chose to still give Luffy the same drawback he had more than 200 chapters ago.

Keep in mind that Oda is still saving KKG with Adv. CoA.

Well I doubt that Current Zoro is remotely close to PK level but he is proving to be a real match for Kaido by himself. Perhaps the WSC title was flawed indeed.

No way Zoro used tatsumaki, that's a legit fodder attack. I don't think he ever used it against a decent opponent in a 1v1, but only against bunch of fodders.

It was going to break Kaku's tekkai defence, Kaku had to move out the way.

In terms of santoryu,I think it's above the basic attacks(onigiri, ultora gari), on par with the mid teir attacks(climbing tower and return) but much below the secret techniques(isds, sanzen sekai, and rokudo no tsuji)

Zoro carrying Luffy this whole arc.

This again showed the biggest flaw with luffy's powerups which is coming to bite oda, and why I wished gears should have been removed or presented better writing should be by oda about them. I just can't see luffy as a top tier even EOS because he is not top tier 24x7 and needs a limited time powerup unlike the ones which we see from marines and Yonkos.

its make sense, but the fact Oda show us he spamming G4 for fodder make us speculate "Ah, Luffy might increasing his stamina in G4".

Clearly Luffy needs to increase his proficienty with Adv. Haki so he could use G4 for longer times. My guess is that after fighting Kaido for hours on end like he did against Katakuri his time using G4+Avd. Haki will be longer. We all know Luffy improves alot under pressure when fighting.

Well he didn't even give his Base a try, maybe he realized it was so dangerous he had to rely on Hybrid all of a sudden

My personal feeling is that Hybrid mid diffs Base

Base Zoro might already be good enough to push Hybrid to high difficulty without relying on Asura
