Literally no Admiral so far has a history of losing a fight to a non-marine. Before entering their ranks each of them were known as monsters

Lol, Kaido's "Worlds strongest" title is basically a meme now. Like fodder reffering to Big mom as the world's strongest old hag, it's cheap hype for them because Oda is not creative enough. At least Mihawk and WB have received titles that can't be put into question.

No. Even a rumor is hype. Something is always better than nothing. Whitebear/mihawk also started as a rumour. First general public/civilians hype you.....your reputation spreads out and then it is taken as a fact. Whitebeard/mihawk are considered strongest by general public same for kaido....

That’s not even including all the parallels like last chapter where both their first mates got hit by the lightning attack or how the both said why a yonko attack didn’t hurt them.

But you need to think inversely. How are titles associated ?They did something remarkable like whitebeard fighting roger on equal terms and his reputation increases. Kaido isn't rumored as 'strongest' for nothing. He did something for that. Marines will gain major advantage by having one of the admirals as strongest still they are not rumored so...
