Love the thought of luffy, he doesnt want zoro being sad when he cut the air.
Luffy deliberatey let kaido hit him to make kaido off his guard for zoro cut him again

It's almost like there's a difference between punching with a fist and cutting with a sword that makes the physical strength of an individual irrelevant to the task.
Doesn't make the physical strength of an individual irrelevant but having a meito definitely is an advantage.
For example, Sandai Kitetsu hasn't actually been chipped or broke against Kaido's Scales or else Zoro would've reacted to it.
Like seriously Sandai Kitetsu, a meito that doesn't even belong to the top 3 types of meito isn't actually breaking against Kaido's scales.
So ye having a meito definitely gives an advantage vs a fist. Not to say blades have more lethality than blunt attacks.
can we take the middle ground and think that zoro and kidd is equals and they're slightly weaker than luffy then end this debate and moving on, we still have much to talk about like a kaido hybrid etc.
No one is contorting lol. The only bigger joke than every SBS answer where Oda calls Kaido the strongest, is actually believing Kaido is the strongest.

Yeah, but when we say meito we're talking about a third edition that was found in a miscellaneous bin in a pretty worthless town. So having a sword is a game changer not necessarily dependent on physical strength rather than individual prowess. There's an inherent lethality you can hardly find with blunt attacks unless we're talking about beating up an Usopp or something.

Kaido is definitely about to give our man a hard time, but he will just be pushed enough to trigger his Asura mode which he should in all likelihood still possess. Then the real fight will commence.
Thanks!
Asura will be really cool.
Let's see also what kind of explanation Oda will give us about that ability.
I believe is haki related but let's wait and see
