It doesn't look good for Kid thus far. He basically went into this fight like pre-Udon Luffy did. Punching/brawling attacks are ineffective. At least others have other ways to hurt Kaido

Although even in Law's case, the fact that Kaido straight up ignored his gamma knife doesn't really bode well for him either.
Furthermore, with Kaido going hybrid while Luffy is still recovering his haki, it seems like they'd end up recked. I guess that Zoro taking care of protecting Luffy during the 10min cool down could be Oda's way to preserve him from this though. By the look of it, Kid, Killer and Law will be the one to be used as a hypetool for hybrid Kaido with Zoro as the last one when he'd start aiming for Luffy, until Luffy will recover his haki and save the day
I don't think so. If it was the case, Zoro's other swords would have had the same aura. Oda only does it with Enma, which means it's specific to Enma. Likely that Zoro pouring his haki into the blade leaks Oden's stored aura from it

I think its too early to say that Kid and Killer are being done dirty. Yeah they lowkey on the wayside right now but it’s only been 3 chapters. It is certainly possible that they would actually be pushed to wayside later down the line tbh. That I wouldn’t put past Oda but I don’t think he’s been utilizing Kid specifically that well to open up the battle either.
I like the path he’s taking with Kid finding his own way to damage Kaido but it doesn’t look nearly as effective or potent in its own right to what Zoro or Luffy are doing. Simply slamming Kaido to the ground ain’t gonna do much. Tho I don’t think Kid is done yet and could have magnetism related hax coming along the way. He’s yet to apply koka to his metals for one so he’s far from showing everything he got in the bag.
