Imo it may be fine. But strength and narrative wise, even if Zoro is the one killing Kaidou, its going to happen because the rubberboi has surpass and defeat Kaidou to become new WSC at least AP-wise, physically, or both.

Luffu recovers...both clashes with rocks duo and we get COc clash (luffy uses kkg and kidd uses his finisher)
But then Kaido and BM overpower and wins.

You can’t actually since the only attack we see is killers. Oda doesn’t even show what “damage” Zoros attack did. He even made zoro say “ I have to unleash more on enma” after the attack.
