Yes he is, definitely. Whether its in this arc or in the next arc. Leaning towards this arc. If Zoro goes to replicate Oden in this arc due to narrative purpose, then Luffy also becomes WSC due to an even greater narrative purpose.

The narrative setup for Luffy becoming the WSS is insignificant compared to Zoro fulfilling Oden's will. The main argument in favour is the belief that Luffy will shatter Kaido's myth and Luffy's claim that he would surpass him.

Luffy has never expressed the desire to become the strongest.

I would lean more towards 95%, Law doing 4% and Killer 1%.
Props to Law for also attacking Big Mom, I will wait for better quality panels to judge the attack.

IMO Sonic Scythe troubled Kaido more than Gamma Knife.

I'd say something like this:

• Killer: 3%
• Law: 1.5%
• Kidd: 0.5%

This whole post crumble when you realise Killer and Law damaged Kaido from the inside and BM can't tell what their attack even did

the reality of the situation is Zoro attack did way less than the scabbards, and Kaido is completely fine after the attack

Is Oden a fraud?

Oden is a legend of swordsmanship. Of course he was no Roger or Primebeard and likely no Rayleigh too.. but if he was still alive, he would eventually rank amongst the top 5 swordsmen in the world.

Despite Oden's merits, Zoro is there too now. People need to comprehend that this manga is not lasting forever and we can't expect every single arc to feature such a huge out of the blue Zoro growth power wise.

Nah, it's not about the type of haki being used. It was about Kaido seeing Oden in the Scabbards:

• Zoro's attack was still the only attack Kaido acknowledged this chapter.
  • Mama also acknowledged it.
• Kidd, Killer and Law did nothing to him.

I changed my mind on Zoro pushing him to Hybrid because Kong Gatling was effective, not because Zoro's Tatsumaki didn't seem to be the catalyst. It's more like Zoro and Luffy together pushed him to hybrid.

P.S: Zoro save Luffy 4 times:

• Mama's Cognac
• Dragon!Kaido's Chomp
• Dragon!Kaido's Tornadoes
• Dragon!Kaido's Wind Scythes

P.S: I'm only more confident that Santoryu Zoro beats Dragon!Kaido. He can counter his entire offensive arsenal, and significantly hurt him with a mid tier attack like Kokujo Ou Tatsumaki.

Think Kidd's idea of hurting Kaido was to squash Kaido with his huge Robot. Don't know why he thought squashing would work.
Magnetism is a versatile power. It can do a lot of different things!! Maybe he is learning how to hurt Kaido by watching others and will slowly find his own way of doing it.
We can generate electricity from magnetism, generate heat using magnetism concepts, using heat generated he maybe able to create tornadoes. He can control weather using his fruit as well like Nami or BM or Kaido (it might not be as easy for him as it is for BM or Kaido).
Maybe his awakening could control blood...Who knows. Hope Oda handles his fruit differently in a fun way!!

I guess you see it from the wrong perspective. Cause exactly this splits luffy from Kid. Luffy get everything told and teached, every legend around comes around and explains to luffy how to do it.

Kid on the other hand is going Into the world and is figuring it for himself. He used the Knowledge and abilities he has. Goes for kaido, loses and learns from this. How else shall he figure it? Looking for some cheerleaders spread all over the world? He goes the hard way, try and fail, try and fail, until he wins. And he is the guy who stands up every fucking time. Lost an arm to shanks? Who cares. Lost to kaido? Who cares. Up again. New idea, new technique. He figures a way, doesn’t matter how long it takes.
