The scabbards use level 2 hardening imo, which is still advanced version of haki. It's just that Luffy's level of haki is at stage 3, allowing him to destroy things from the inside

If you paid attention to what Hyo said in Udon, the only Scabbard you can argue for would be Kawamatsu. There is literally nothing special implied about the Haki of the others level wise. The only special detail comes from Kaido calling it Oden's Haki but that's pretty vague

What don’t you understand about dead people not having haki? Why are you so desperate?

I think Santoryu Zoro beats Dragon!Kaido. I don't even understand how Dragon!Kaido is supposed to win. Literally his entire offensive arsenal is hard countered.

Zoro has barely started using his stronger attacks with Enma, and he can already readily harm Kaido. He had much stronger attacks than Kokujo Ou Tatsumaki.

At any rate, Zoro has only looked so impressive because he's been working overtime to protect Luffy. He's only attacked of his own volition once (the initial Rengoku Oni Giri). The other two were counterattacks he made while protecting Luffy.

If Zoro didn't have to rescue Luffy six times, he would have been much more impressive.

I don't want to go too deep into this and waste time discussing trivial details but the fundamental necessity behind making this fight a team battle is none of them are capable of handling Kaido on their own. Our opinions of what Zoro/Kaido can or cannot do maters not tbh. The fact that Oda took the route of making Zoro and Luffy take on an opponent at the same time which he doesn't normally do should tell you that this is not an opponent they can individually handle. And as I said earlier, Luffy wouldn't need Zoro to beat Kaido if he's already as strong as Garp or Rayleigh. Much of the same goes to Zoro.

We talk with @ivaannom so before claiming lots of things, we agree that 正体 means form or identity.

So Kaido is seeing here that Zoro is using the same haki of Oden "Ryou", exactly like when the scabbards used Ryou on him. For Kaido who doesn't know anything about Ryou, he refers Ryou to Oden's haki. That's when Scabbard and Zoro used on him, he calls/sees that at Oden's haki. Also why he didn't understand how Luffy hurt him with Red Roc at first.
No there is no haki of Oden here.
