I dunno about that, I mean then they were everyone’s main fight but they had main fights after that too. Stomping them quickly and them being there doesn’t make them his main fight. I can’t put fodder soldiers, Zoro and main fight in the same sentence. Luffys main fight wasn’t the fodder fishmen but he fought them too then fought Hody. I’m not gonna call fodder grunts his main fight, by that logic every single gifter he’s come across are considered his main fight.

King vs Zoro would be another Zoro vs Pica.

How so? Zoro knew Pica was trash. But Zoro knows King isn’t trash. That fight ain’t happening as of now and I don’t believe it will but it wouldn’t be Pica 2.0. That’s seriously underrating King and giving too much credit to pebbleman Pica. Especially given that Marco is the one stopping King to advance.

You can surpass another swordsman without fighting him at all, by surpassing his feats. If zoro surpasses odens feats he will surpass him.
Thats why Zoros main fight is kaido because zoro is going up against odens feat.

I can just as easily say Luffy couldnt even beat Katakuri 1v1 yet Katakuri was his main fight. Because the way Luffy’s fights are written and the point of those fights is EXTREMELY different from Zoro.

Luffy couldnt beat Moriah 1v1 too yet he was Luffy’s main fight but Zoro HAD to beat Ryuma no matter what becauze Zoro winning a fight 1v1 means something different from Luffy winning a fight 1v1.

Get it? People should remember that theres a reason characters get different treatment in fights. There’s a reason Sanji gets no actual fights in his arc but Zoro has had like 4 or five already. The characters are written differently

Also not all the set up is around Kaido. Zoro has actual set up with specifucally Orochi. Orochi is weak so thats why he cant be a candidate but there is still actual set up with Orochi.

Same way there was set up with Kyoshiro before the Denjiro reveal

And i agree most, NOT ALL, of the set up is Against kaIdo FOR NOW and thats why Zoro is fighting Kaido now, but there are things in the arc about Zoro that either have nothing to do with Kaido or clearly lead to another climax coming up.

Hiyori, Nidai Kitetsu, Ryuma, shusui, the fact that Orochi isnt dead, the fact that Kaido and company are gonna beat the supernovas, just the existence of King... Like these things dont disappear just becausse the set up with Kaido exists.

If Zoro aims a Serious Full Haki attack at any Character other than Kaido in this Arc, they will be deleted from the Manga, Oda will forget they even existed & that he even drew them before. Fits perfectly for the so-called "Main Fight"
