The king uses his power to discover the "Akasaku Samurai".
I assuming that "King using his power" means he's using his devil fruit and flying around scouting the place. If it was haki I'm sure it would have said it.
But if the Scabbards were teleported inside the skull wouldn't King be right in their vicinity if he sees them if so... why not just take care of them himself. It would make more sense if the samurai are outside and then King sees them bird eyes from higher up

But then wouldn´t he handle it on his own, what stopping him to attack the Scabbards?
If he fight right now Marco, I doubt he fly across the island, to find the scabbards in that large island is very hard, so I think we either get a new view of King power or his CoO. Both way would be very hyped up.
