To make Luffy PK, that's what he wants to achieve. For that he has to be strong.

Roles mean fuck all tho. Marco was the doctor of the Whitebeard Pirates, and was the strongest after WB. Having an extra role dont mean shit when it comes to main fighters within a crew, which it has always been shown that Sanji is part of the main fighting force within the SHs.

They might not mean fuck all to you yeah. But if you think about it, they justify why Sanji doesn't have to be comparable to Zoro. The cook isn't supposed to rival the main fighter and the right hand. Nobody will laugh at Sanji for being weaker since that's how it should be but people will sure laugh at Zoro if it so happens that he is weaker than Sanji cos it's just dumb.
Sanji is pretty strong but this obsession of Sanji being as strong as Zoro is not only a fantasy but just really unecessary.

So at the end of the day to not regard Sanji as one of the main fighters is just dumb. He's shown more than enough that he is apart of the main force.

Never did I say Sanji can't fight. What I'm saying is that since Sanji's PRIMARY role is to cook, no one will laugh at him for being weaker than the crew's fighter since it makes perfect sense. Yet you guys are embarassed at it and desperately want him to be just as strong if not better than Zoro.
