Hello ladies and gentlemen.

Sanji is too weak willed compared to Luffy and Zoro, And he has less resolve compared to the two, And thats also why he wont ever get COC.

Since the beginning of the story we leared how strong willed Luffy and Zoro are
- As Luffy wanted to be the pirate king and acquire one piece
- And zoro wanted to be the strongest swordman

In sanjis introduction arc on the Chef Baratie we learned that sanji thought both Luffy and Zoro are just crazy for following their dreams and that they should give up:

This is no coincidence, this is how Sanji was portrayed compared to luffy and zoro, He was always portrayed as of weaker will, Someone who follows.
And this is why Sanji doesnt have strong enough will to be a conqueror

*More proof:

On the other hand Zoro and luffy both would throw their lives to get to their goal, To be the strongest. And that was evident from the beginning:

* Sanji needed pursing to even go on to sea and look for all blue and fulfill his dream, If it wasnt for Luffy and Zoro he might be still a cook at the chef baratie
Proof:

- On the other hand both Luffy and Zoro Were on their journey to accomplish their goals and dreams even before their met each others, Infact they both were on that journey since they were children, They both decided while they were children and trained in their own way day and night to get as strong as they did so they can one day set to sea and fulfill their dreams. And they set to sea both on their own to do so.

*Sanji even said that his dream was fulfilled in fishman island:

-He already found his all blue and fulfilled his dream.
On the contrary some people said that this wasnt serious sanji. But even if he wasnt serious would Zoro ever throw away his dream as ajoke? would luffy throw away his dream as a joke? they both wont because they know how important it is for them. Sanji joking around with his goal like that just shows that hes not as serious about it as Zoro and Luffy.

Luffy and Zoro have will and resolve that surpasses that of Sanji by a big margin.

Even if you look on their dreams finding all blue seems like a small feat compared to being the pirate king or the strongest swordmen in the world.

All opinions are welcome

I am sure more people will provide more evidence

Edits:

*Edit: Just to clarify i didnt mean Sanji has no will at all or that hes weak willed compared to most people, obviously sanji is strong willed compared to most people, I am just talking about his will specifically compared to Luffy and zoro

**Edit 2 : talking about resolve Sanji wouldnt hit a women because its part of his moral. Even if it means Him and others will die, He would sacrifice his dream for his morals. Zoro on the other hand have morals but he will sacrifice them instead if it means it will hinder him from getting to his dream, Same with luffy: the most recent evidence to this that comes to mind is Sanji refuses to beat black maria at all costs. On the other hand Zoro didnt want to hit Monet but decided to do so, Because She was posing danger to him and tashigi.

***Edit 3 : it came to my attention after a fine gentlemen pointed this out to me that in Thriller Bark Sanji was downed by a love tap from Zoro, but Zoro went on to take Luffy's entire pain and suffering.
Which outlines that Zoros resolve was above sanjis in protecting his crew ( including sanji ), Like i said not taking away from sanji i thought he was very noble aswell but Zoro's Resolve was a bit stronger.
Proof :

**** Edit 4 : It was brought to my attention by another gentlemen in this forum that This behavior of sanji showed moments of weakness in his resolve and will continued into the chole cake island Arc.

Proof:

-In WCI sanji gives up on his dreams and ambitions and accepts big moms demands. And he needed luffy to pursue him to find his dreams again.

-So Sanji gave up everything including his friends and dreams. Yeah you can make the argument that in his mind it was because he feared for their lives, But in reality he gave up without fighting or trying to fight in any other way, In reality he did because of fear and never tried to face those fears. He was going to give up finding all blue and living his life as big moms "prince" without even fighting for it or trying to fight against it until luffy came for him.

Edit 5: Both Luffy and Zoro have Conquerors Haki.

Baratie Sanji was indebted to Zeff and gave up on his dream in order to try and repay the sacrifice Zeff made when they were trapped on the island.

This is like complaining about how Zoro said he'd kill Luffy if he interfered with his dream. Its outdated. This plot line was resolved in the same arc

I think an important reason for Sanji staying on the Baratie was his feeling if being indebted to Zeff.
Aside from his mother, Zeff was the first person who showed genuine love and affection to Sanji to the point he became not only his mentor but also his father figure, who had sacrificed his own leg for Sanji's survival.

How Zoro fans read the Baratie arc

- Purposely forget that Sanji couldn't leave due to his debt to Zeff
- Purposely forget that Kid Sanji wanted to die for his dream to find the All Blue
- Purposely forget that the SH's are hypocrites that would sacrifice theirs lives for something but wouldn't want someone else to do the same

Legit tho why can't yall actually make a proper thread about why Zoro has a stronger will than Sanji without being fallacious about it. The fact that you guys keep on making these bad threads look worse on Zoro.

The whole point of Baratie Arc was Sanji actualizing his ambition. Zoro's trauma around Kuina spurred him on, Sanji's trauma with Zeff's sacrifice indebted him to the point he was going to rot away and give up his dream out of a sense of duty.

The moments of Luffy and Zoro shocking Sanji into sense are truly great let's not turn some of the most beautiful moments of the manga into some bullshit Sanji hating.

Just gotta drop some segment of my essay here real quick.

Sanji endured beating from his siblings for years, usually normal kids would kill or hang themselves to get out of suffering but Sanji still keep enduring the beating days to days. That's a strong willed.

Sanji also endured starvation in the island with Zeff for 60 days straight without dying. That's a strong determination. Sanji struggled and grow from it.
