@Garp the Fist

Would you entertain the possibility of this

leading into a reenactment of this

where Queen and King replace Big Mom in managing to restrict Marco's movement, and Perospero get's to do whatever was implied to remove Marco from the equation back then ?

This is not to argue that Sanji fights King even if Marco i dealt with. I'm all in for Sanji vs Queen this arc.
Perospero is probably going to to what Kizaru did to a distracted Marco. This time he is going to be defeated and not captured tho.

The three of them might combine to take Marco down temporarily. I could see that.

Thing with the phoenix though, it comes back. Rises from the ashes. That’s kind of its thing. I don’t believe for a second that Marco has been brought to Wano just to delay everyone else’s plotline and get beaten without achieving any great victory of his own. That is no payoff to a plotline running since Zou, and it also is no payoff to a character who is an obscenely popular fan favourite in Japan. And let’s not kid ourselves, that’s the main reason Marco’s here, out of every person that Oden met in his travels.
Perospero said he wished he could have killed Marco many times in the past, so i imagine he has a good enough understanding of his abilities. Whatever he would do against him should take that into account, so my best guess would be the technique he used against Brook and Chopper, or a superior similar alternative

We also have this line from Marco

which makes me think that eventually, he will go directly after Kaido ?

So i could see a situation where he is turned into a Candy Man thing while the fights happen with King, Queen and Perospero, and after their defeat he's saved from that predictment, maybe by Perospero being taken out, and then he learns that the only remaining obstacle is Kaido, making him give his support to Luffy in the final stages of that battle.

Face it, Marco is a plot tool disguised as a cool character. He is nothing more than a stalling plotline for the Calamities and a potential hypetool. He doesnt need no pay-off since this isnt even his fight. It's the New Gen's fights. He's only backing Chopper up. Not aiming to defeat anyone.

Understand them
They been wishing for Marco to be a big player in a war and have a W at least

Marco once again will end up captured or lose as usual

Can’t see Marco being turned into candy. His phoenix is made of fire, that’s a horrible matchup for any attempt to hold him in a candy cage, he’d just melt it.

King wants to kill Momo and Sanji stops him from doing it.

"oH sAnJi vS kInG wOn'T bE a ThInG"

Queen mentions Zoro and Sanji

"oH sAnJi vS qUeEn iT iS"

Hmmm.....:pepecafe:
Queen and Sanji have direct connection through Judge, Oda madr a match up out of Jinbei and WW simply because the later knows Jinbei.

"sAnJi vS kInG"

F6 also want Momo dead, King ordered his army to kill Momo, King ordered his army to kill Scabbards, means jackshit

Jinbei ain't fighting WsW. Brook will take over him.

Sanji vs King have an actual build-ups.

King ordered his men to kill Momo and Scabbards but they can't so King have to do it himself.

Brook is fighting Black Maria with Robin, Jinbei vs WW, Franky vs Sasaki.

Sanji vs Queen has more build up due to the Judge connection, King zero.

King is busy with Marco he can't either.

Robin and Brook will have their solo fights.

Sanji does have connection with Queen but it doesn't have to be a fight. Sanji and Queen can just talk it out.

Both King and Queen are both busy with Marco. And Marco can't hold both of them for long anyway, so Sanji vs King and Queen might be a go go.
