Honestly I've thought it would be cool if he/Apoo/Drake/Killer and maybe Law all had big moments against the Big Mom pirate fighters. That being Smoothie, Snack, Peros, Compote and Daifuku. Truly I'm not sure how Oda can just make them irrelevant the remaining portions of the arc. I do think they have to be involved at some point.
