Sanji being Vergo lvl when he wasn't even trying and nerfed going in. If it went on, think Sanji would still win, but it be hard fight at time on PH, but he much stronger than Vergo at this point.
Last time I check Oda said Sanji vs Drake is canon blessing by him. Where he stated in movies are canon? So Luffy is above Shiki or above Bullet then? There different cases from where Oda states on canon and non-canon stuff and he rarely does that on majority of OP movies.

More than Zoro vs King.
In term of growth as a swordsman, Big Mom is better than King for Zoro:
-She has swordsmanship technic that he can learn from her (Ikkoku) /King does not have any outstanding sword technic
-She is a flying swordswoman like King
-She is use lightning which can allow Zoro to learn how to cut this element / King only has the fire element that Zoro already know how to cut
-She has a very hard and tough skin which will be a feat to cut / King is not hype ton be hard to cut
-She has a tremendous level of physical strength / King is not hype to have a tremendous physical strength
Furthermore, she is in the exact same place as Zoro.
Zoro fighting Big Mom is far better for him swordsmanship wise than fighting King.

Yeah and he would have tell the staff about it on Sanji vs Drake fight which isn't far in episodes when we reach flashback side. If he is fine with that, then blessing on that fight is canon. Not saying every scene is canon, but Staff stated they are in talks with Oda on certain stuff going around and that is one of them.

To play devils advocate Vergo wasnt even trying and was breaking Sanji's leg. Sure Sanji did land a couple DJs but they were ineffective against Vergo.
At this point the only person he has displayed his full fighting that was tough was Page One (WEAK) and briefly fought Daifuku and Oven (not that much stronger than Flying 6) perceived on the same tier.
To Add on he got No Diffed by Doflamingo as well.
At this point it is fair to say he is above Vergo, but not by that much, an argument at this point can be made that Sanji would high to extreme diff Vergo.
