It's not that far out of context. Sanji fought someone who we thought was near his level, Sanji got his shit snapped. That's pretty in fucking context bro. Why would we bother pitting someone clearly stronger than Sanji against him when he couldn't handle someone actually around his level
Even though you claim that you're taking everything into consideration.. which yiu aren't.. this isn't even a rational assessment..
First off sanji was pretty Weakened when nami was in his body.. something u didn't consider.. and due to that fact.. sanji collapsed instantly after the switch
this is something u overlooked... people ignore and undermine this moment alot.. and this isn't even a head canon.
And even if he got his leg snapped it was due to Vergo getting serious with sanji and gave him a serious run blow to his leg.. as it was also shown after that sanji was underestimating him... EVEN AFTER that snaji was stale mating him.. until Vergo left.. you can't by any means say that sanji didn't stand a chance against Vergo.. well first off if he didn't he would be stalemating and fighting head to head with him... second of all.. we have seen sanji beaten and battered alot in thriller bark and the feats that he consequently pulled weren't that of an injured person...
And with the logic and reasoning that you're baselessly backing sanji's leg would have shattered into piece when he clashed with doffy (who is obviously at a higher tier than vegro) with a head start momentum to his attack... which ironically didn't happen but he got admired instead.
so saying that sanji's not able to handle Vergo.. who he was stalemating when nerfed... and you can't tell me that if zoro was equally nerfed and was stopping Vergo attack while putting his body on the line and not using swords.. could have done any better.. becuz if this was zoro who snapped his leg you won't overlook the context.. coz of your bias toward him..
