If he do it, it would be great overall for the tension of the war and Ashura get a final great chapter for himself. So if Ashura stay dead it would be fiinally something with is great about the war and could start a massive bloodbath for the war. But if he stay alive even after the fake hype, I don´t know men it would be really disappointed at this point. People are stiick with the fake tension and cringe fake deaths at this point.

Problem is, since most people dont actually expect for it to be true, it will only "become real" later on, after 100 cover pages that he still doesn't appear.
For now, we simply can't have the "experience" of his death and sacrifice, because we are unable to actually believe it.
It's already ruined, no matter if he really is dead.

This battle has little to no tension and no death at all.

Beating Kaido/fighting him, Toki's prophecy was about 9 shadows, doesn't mean they beat Kaido. Fuck the prophecy, Yamato is going to face her father at some point.

Exactly. Even IF Ashura actually died this won't have the impact it shouold have because Oda overused cheap fake deaths way too much
