Usopp toad oil cured Zoro, and toko was rubbing toad o on yasu. Franky also took his body with him and dint show what he did with IT. IT îs the pell effect. Usopp's lies always become true.
There was funeral for him. I think people would find it strange if his body wasnt there....and if Oda brings someone back who got shot like 30 times in the stomach and chest cause of some market oil.....that would be Fairy Tail levels of bullshit

Yasu death was pointless because instead of protecting the alliance IT did nothing, orochi still got them.and him and orochi go way back he has to do something to help take him down.

Not to mention that the oil didn't do anything for Zoro. Toko said she used toad oil on his scythe wound, but he was still affected by it at Rasetsu Town.
Hell, Usopp was about to straight up say he was lying about the oil's effects when Toko tried using it on Yasu

That was the point! Yasu's death was a tragedy. He did what little he could offer because he believed in the cause.
A powerful and respected Daimyo ended up a beggar on the streets. He lost everything including his emotions and gave up the one thing he had left -- his own life, just for the possibility that he might create a window of opportunity for others. This once proud noblemen ended up dying as a joke in the public's eyes to prank Orochi and his men. Did Orochi actually get 'em? Too soon to tell. If everyone shows up in Onigashima, then Orochi failed.
Pound died in a similar way, only managing to delay and annoy Oven for a minute before croaking. He let his daughter Chiffon get away and that's all he cared about.

But in op Death is rare and only there to achieve something not just for the sake of tragedy. like even kyro's wife helped defeat diamanate in the end.
I mean its possible since oda doesn't like to kill his characters. So unless we see them get put in the grave there's always a chance a character can return.
I hope he isn’t alive...as others have said, it would greatly minimize the impact his death had in this arc. He’s a great character, and I’m excited to see more of him in the flashback, but his martyrdom figures to be the most important thing he does for the alliance.

It also would have been rad to see a little more of him in the current timeline, but perhaps that would have made his death slightly less poignant.
