i don't think anyone is saying luffy was useless the whole fight but only that he was useless for the 10 mins he needed to rest

Overall the chapter was kinda meh since it's quite tiring all this fake tension and fake deaths.
Kaido's hybrid is not that bad, expectable, but those horns... it'll take time to get used I guess.

Still, this panel look sick, despite Kaido's weird horns there.

Special mention to Kid, the only SN aside from Luffy that smiles in front of the Yonko, like a true Conqueror.

PS: Luffy's portrayal is another lvl man. Even if I'd add the 4 SN together, they don't seem equal to him, it's no wonder that they bounties altogether are inferior to him. A monster does not see another one as a monster.

Nah it's most likely the classic shit Oda uses and then the character(s) probably unleash a power up or so and things change dramatically.

Just think about how CP9 literally no-low diffed the SHs in Water 7 and then Enies Lobby happened, Asura, The Gears etc. occurred.

It's mostly triggered Zoro fans who can't fathom the idea of Luffy being the strongest SN, they believe calling him useless wld somehow make Zoro the stronger character. Just some weird behaviour from those lot.
