When you think of it from a story perspective it makes sense. BM really went there for Zeus and to kill Luffy. Plus, Nami being broken right away would suck if she fought Ulti. Not saying it's good, it just works with the confines of the story

Because fake hype. Whenever Oda want to make a character survive an attack from BM or Kaido, he never lets BM or Kaido use Napoleon or his club on them, he instead has them use elemental attacks with an unknown amount of power
